Total Autonomy: Manage your own calendar. Block off the time you don’t want to work—no formal “request for time off” required. You own your schedule.
7-Day Availability: We are open 9am-9pm daily, providing maximum flexibility to choose shifts that fit your life.
Built-in Rest & Recovery: Every workday includes a mandatory rest block from 1pm-3pm to recharge.
Safety First: Field visits wrap up by 7pm daily for staff safety.
Hybrid Freedom: Conduct virtual shifts from anywhere in Ontario (requires a private room/office and a strictly private Wi-Fi connection).
Compensation & Contractor Model
As an Independent Contractor, you manage your own business:
- Field Visits: $50.00 flat rate per visit.
- Virtual Appointments: $30.00 flat rate per session.
- Premium Mileage: $0.73/km within your designated service zone (Your initial morning commute from your home to your first client, and your last client back home, is not billable. Reimbursable mileage applies strictly to the kilometers driven between separate clinical locations).
- Professional Responsibility: Staff are responsible for managing their own deductions (CPP, EI, WSIB and Income Tax).
Hiring Requirements
We are looking for dedicated professionals who meet the following:
- Experience & Character: Proven Community Nursing experience and a deep sense of compassion for clients.
- Clinical Credentials: CNO registration in good standing, current CPR certification, and PLP insurance (WeRPN/RPNAO/RNAO).
- Clearances: A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) dated within the last 6 months.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license, car insurance in good standing and a reliable vehicle for field visits.
- Equipment: Nurses provide their own stethoscope and smartphone, tablet or laptop. TrustyTriage provides an official ID badge.
The Role
Every visit focuses on returning to the roots of nursing:
- Precision Care: Advanced wound care utilizing AI imaging.
- Clinical Oversight: Monitoring vitals via Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) kits.
- The “Comfort Standard”: Ensuring the client is clean, dry, and comfortable before you leave.
